Develop through Frontpage to outline class info, links to websites, pod casts or video clips from available resources on a topic resource page. Link assessment materials, PowerPoint or topic outlines.

Set up virtual classes with links to resource martial and student assignment submission and grading. I can setup up the class and you can setup the materials to cpver in links to websites, podcasts, videos and allow fro a chat session, blogs or set up for assignments to be turned on via Moodle. Testing and quizzes are also available on Moodle.

 

Student Resources

 

There are many free and subscription services that offer many valuable educational resources for your classrooms. Many are searchable by Illinois Learning Standards, Subject and Grade level.

 

A couple of exceptional subscription services that we have are World Book and United Streaming, there are links, as seen below, to each of these site at the bottom of each school buildings home page. 

 

 

Both offer searchable lesson plans by learning standards, subject and grade level.

Untried Streaming has the ability to easily produce online quizzes, which can be taken in the computer a lab and the results will be complied automatically. Iedtreaming Login-

 Offer a vast array of resources which once selected can be gathered onto a common document to place on your website, a resource page.  First we’ll take a look around at some of what is available, ten how to produce an online resource page for your webpage.

 

These same restores can also be linked into Moodle to use as classroom resources.

 

How to produce an online resources page

1. Open up a  blank Word document.

 

2. Find your resources via web search or resource site.

 

3. Go to the URL of the website, select the URL, right click, copy

 

4. Pull up your Word document, right click, paste

 

5. Repeat for as many links as you want

 

6. In Word, go to File, save as webpage ( make sure it is saved as .htm or .html )

 

7. Save the Word webpage in the W: drive on your computer

 

8. Open FrontPage, go to your W:drive, open the page you want the resources  page linked to.

 

9. Type in a link name, select it, right click, select Hyperlink, find the page you just saved in your W:drive and select as the link

 

10. File, save.
